The club averages about 10+ yards longer than previous drivers and is surprisingly forgiving for a 9.5 driver. Have now been to range a few times and played two rounds. Recently purchased an excellent condition 9.5 degree driver with Aldila NV 65 shaft for only 59 at Golfsmith. Other than this minor oversite on Callaways part, the RAZR Fit Xtreme driver sounds and feel very good at impact. For those of you who own a Diablo Octane Tour fairway wood, you will see the resemblance straight away at address as the steel head shape is very similar, even though it is 3 bigger at 155cc. Apparently better (Tour) players like the smaller heads for looks and also for the ability to move the ball, but we fall into the better player (non-Tour) category and a 460cc 9.5 degree head would do us nicely, thank you very much. I guess Callaway was feeling like TaylorMade was virtually monopolizing the market for adjustable drivers. Model Reviewed: Callaway Razr Fit Driver. Unlike the driver there are no adjustable weights in the RAZR Fit fairway as Callaway say they have little effect in heads of this size.
